đź’ˇ More rolling blackouts, with no end in sight, a national disgrace

The failure of the ANC government, and Eskom, to resolve South Africa’s electricity crisis through extra generation capacity and opening the grid is one of the greatest governance blunders imaginable. The DA has now called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to take urgent and direct action to open the grid and break Eskom’s monopoly.

đź“‚ DA will petition President over pernicious Employment Equity Amendment Bill

The ANC managed to pass the Employment Equity (EE) Amendment Bill in Parliament yesterday. This law is a damaging and destructive exercise in social engineering that will worsen South Africa’s economic woes. The DA will petition the President not to sign it into law.
