The collapse of water delivery in Gauteng is a crisis, and residents are being denied their right to water supply by the failing ANC. The DA, after being inundated with pleas from residents to help them and to take up their fight, will take political action tomorrow (Wednesday, 6 October at 8am).
🚨 Hate Speech Bill will undermine Freedom of Speech
The DA last week submitted objections to the Prevention and Combating of Hate Crimes and Hate Speech Bill, emphasising that if the issues identified in the Bill are not addressed during the legislative process, this Bill will have a chilling effect on freedom of speech.

🗽 DA vindicated after DIRCO Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is fired over R118m New York property debacle
The DA welcomed the dismissal of the CFO of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), Caiphus Ramashua, over his alleged role in the R118 million fruitless and wasteful expenditure in the highly controversial New York Pilot Project.
