JOHANNESBURG – Tshwane Metro Police have arrested three suspected cable thieves in Valhalla.
The officers were following up on a tip-off earlier today and decided to search for the suspects who were found driving a bakkie loaded with aluminium overheads weighing over 200 kilograms.
The men were arrested after failing to produce a permit.
Spokesperson Isaac Mahamba said, “We urge members of the public that if they have any information or any lead to a cable problem in the city of Tshwane, they can contact us or the nearest police station.”
