This year, the DA-run City of Cape Town budgeted a record amount of R5.4 billion to make the City safer. In partnership with the Western Cape government, 1 200 new Law Enforcement officers have been deployed to crime-ridden areas like Delft, Khayelitsha, and Mitchells Plain.
